The Brief
A customer approached Unitech Engineering looking for a stainless steel ingredients table built around their day-to-day production needs.
The table needed to be mobile, hard wearing and suitable for use within a food production environment. Alongside the main table structure, the customer also requested additional storage and document handling features to help improve organisation on the shop floor.
The project required a practical solution that could support production staff while making ingredients and paperwork easier to manage during operation.
The Solution
Unitech Engineering designed and manufactured a bespoke stainless steel ingredients table tailored to the customer’s exact requirements.
The unit was fitted with 4-inch white nylon wheels, allowing the table to be moved easily around the production area while remaining stable during use.
To improve storage and workflow, gastro trays were fitted to the top section of the table, giving operators quick access to ingredients and materials during production.
The customer also requested A4 document holders to be mounted at the rear of the unit. This allowed production sheets, instructions and paperwork to remain safely stored and easy to access throughout the working day.
The table was manufactured from stainless steel to provide a strong, hygienic and easy-to-clean finish suitable for food manufacturing environments.
The Result
The finished ingredients table provided the customer with a practical and organised workstation built specifically around their process requirements.
By combining mobility, storage and document handling into one bespoke unit, the customer was able to improve day-to-day efficiency within their production area.
